Teledyne e2v offersÂ European designedÂ components and compact sub-systems for electronic countermeasure protection of high-value air, land and naval platforms, including platform life extensions and upgrades. OurÂ Microwave Power Modules (MPMs) incorporate our TWTs, offering a complete package which can be customised to deliver to your unique requirements.
The MTA2000 series is a new range of Microwave Power Modules (MPMs) fully designed and manufactured by Teledyne e2v, combining a mini-helix Travelling Wave Tube (TWT) with solid-state pre-amplifier, an optimised high density power supply and control circuitry. The lightweight, compact, rugged packages have been designed for ground, airborne and ship-borne applications.
Variants within the range are suitable for use in Electronic Counter Measures (ECM), electronic warfare, radar and communications systems and contain European designs.
Integration of the Teledyne e2v-designed and manufactured power supply, TWT and solid state drive unit at source enables the device to be optimised for performance life and reliability. This offers the system designer a highly efficient RF amplifier solution, negating many of the risks associated with interconnection and installation of TWTs and power supply components.
In addition to the standard range of products, weÂ offer bespoke solutions to meet customer-specific requirements designed for the most demanding environments such as high temperature, high altitude and airborne vibration and shock.
