The 2023 Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme

We offer two routes of engineering based apprenticeships, the technicians apprenticeship for those wishing to enter direct from GCSE studies and engineering apprenticeship for those wishing to enter from A-level or BTEC level three studies.

There are several requirements applicants must meet before applying which are explained in the drop down menus below.

The different engineering and technical disciplines you will be exposed to are broad, allowing you to get experience in a number of areas early and will help you make informed decisions as you progress through the apprenticeship as to what areas you may wish to specialise in later or indeed continue your studies in whilst working.

The types of engineering disciplines that are present at Teledyne e2v in the Chelmsford, Essex facility include electrical, electronic and mechanical test and design covering imaging, RF power and quantum products and systems, as well as production and manufacturing engineering and associated functions including quality engineering, product assurance and project engineering.
